Plan the entrance, then the reader.
Door access control combines the terminal or controller with the door itself. The material, frame, opening direction, lock position, exit arrangement and power supply all influence the installation. Share door photos and measurements when you enquire.
Make permissions practical.
Discuss which people can use each entrance, when access should be allowed and how permissions will be removed when someone leaves. Face, fingerprint, card and password verification are available on selected devices; the supported modes must be checked for the chosen model.
Include the whole door system.
A complete quotation should identify the reader, controller if needed, lock, power supply, cabling, exit button and door sensing arrangements. Emergency exit and fire-interface requirements need site-specific review with the responsible building team.
Test everyday scenarios.
Before handover, test a valid user, a rejected user, the exit process and power interruption behaviour. Assign an administrator and agree how credentials, permissions and service issues will be handled.
